Experience in breeding, owning and showing Bull Terriers, French Bulldogs and for the last 30 years Bostons. A show judge, mentor and assessor. Experienced in running dog clubs as Merchandise Officer, Secretary, Chairman and currently President of the South Eastern Counties Bull Terrier Club. A member of the UK Kennel Club. Helping to build this club is my passion and pleasure between my salaried role in the financial services industry.

Been involved in dogs for many years, starting in obedience with poodles and then moving into breed showing. Successful breeder of Boston Terriers breeding champions in the breed, as well as a champion French Bulldog. Championship Show Judge in Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs and a breed mentor. Extensive experience serving on dog club committees, including roles as Treasurer and Show Manager. Member of the UK Kennel Club.

I have been involved with Bostons for around 13 years now. Our first Boston William gained his ShCM and stud book number during his show career. I am now campaigning his children and grandchildren in the show ring. I am looking forward to helping the SBTC develop and represent southern England, bringing together like-minded people and guide and educate individuals on our wonderful breed.

I have been involved with Bostons for around 20 years. Our first Boston was called Tuskar and we did very well in the ring with him, making him into a champion. I now own a Boston and a German Shorthaired Pointer. I am looking forward to being involved with this modern and innovative Club. I am looking forward to all our exciting events and meeting members of our club.

I bought my first Boston Jessie in 2016, and we have recently added to our Boston family with our new puppy Star in 2022. Jessie gained her championship title in 2020. Prior to Boston’s, I owned and showed Staffordshire Bull Terriers for 16 years. I am the author and publisher of ‘The Boston Terrier Annual’ which covers all the Championship shows throughout the year. The Boston annual is in it’s seventh year at 2022 and available to purchase and has been distributed worldwide! I hope that my publishing, photography, and design skills will be an asset for the club.

I have been involved in Bostons since I was 11. Our first Boston, Roxxi taught me so much about this wonderful breed and I am so grateful for her. When I was 12 years old, I competed at my first ever Crufts with Roxxi and she won the Reserve Challenge Certificate, and it is safe to say I have been hooked on the breed! Since then, I have made up two Champions, and contributed to the breed with our stud dog Louie, who sired six Champions. I am very passionate about the health of the breed, as well as preserving the breed standard. I am also enthusiastic about encouraging the younger members of our breed and fostering their interest.

I am 64, married to Ceri and have lived in Milton Keynes for about 18 years. After I took redundancy we made the decision to get a dog, so after spending a lot of time investigating and watching lots of dog videos we decided that we really liked the look, temperament (and the bonkers behaviours) of the Boston, so we went to a boston dog show where we were introduced to lots of owners and some breeders. We decided not long after getting our first that a 2nd Boston would be a good idea so we now have a boy and a girl, Harvey and Nia. After Covid we were able to start some ringcraft training as we were interested in showing and we have found the experience nerve wracking, exciting and rewarding at the same time and we have made a whole new group of friends across the country who have the same interest.

Hi, my name is Julie Cox and I’m from Kent. I was born into a family who always had dogs and I’m no stranger to a show ring; competing with horses, where I became a successful international showjumper; and I’ve also spent many years in British Bulldogs. A friend of mine had a Boston and I liked their smart appearance and playful personality, so when my friend had a litter from her bitch, I took one because I thought they’d make good family pets. I’ve owned and showed Bostons for 10 years now and won at Crufts 2023 which is a showing highlight for me personally. I am passionate about the health and correct standard for Bostons and I’m looking forward to helping the committee of the Club at events and more.
